June Beauty Box

Intial Review

I'm FAR from being a vegan/vegetarian, but I can say that most of my skin care & hair products are usually all natural.  I find that they work best for me.  I usually use Shea Moisture and Alba Bontanica products; a little pricey but they're worth the investment! I've been obsessed with natural skin care so I was excited to try out these products from Vegan Cuts.  I received my June Beauty Box a few days ago, so lets see what's inside!

Visit their site here: www.vegancuts.com

The first thing is the ADORAtherapy Mood Boost Spray.  Pleasantly surprised, because I enjoy self -care products like this.  I used this Thursday night & Friday morning; I had a test Friday, and of course I stressed about it.  The scents have a calming affect, and they smell pretty good.  I like that its small enough to fit in my purse, because I do carry it with me....just in case I'm around any bad vibes.

Next up is the Sade Baron body cream in the scent Jasmine.  Sade Baron specializes in vegan soap and body products.  The body cream is thick in appearance but very light to touch.  I like to apply my body creams to damp skin, fresh out of the shower.  I did not get a picture of the ingredients, so I'll list them below.  As far as the amount, you get a pretty good size for a subscription box.

Ingredients:  Aqua Water, Pronus Armeniaca (Apricot Kennel Oil), Cannabis Sativa (Hemp Seed Oil), Emulsifying Wax, Stearic Acid, Camellia Oleifera (Camellia Oil), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil (Virgin Coconut Oil), Lecithin, Xanthan Gum, Geogard, Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Extract, Rosa Centifolia Flower Extract, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Seed Oil.

So this next product, I've been using it all wrong.  It's the ClariSEA powder exfoliant for your face.  The way I was using, is that I would pour a little in my palm and mix a little water in.  Then I was thinking.."Hmmm something isn't right. Ok, Leigh, lets read the instructions."  I'm notorious for jumping into things without reading the instructions.  The label says to mix a little of the powder with your favorite face cleanser (I had "Ohhhhh" moment).  Reading is fundamental.... Anyways, it's a pretty decent additive to your cleanser.  This jar is about 1 oz/30g when it comes in the subscription box.

Ingredients:  Sodium Chloride (Sea Salt), Sodium Chloride (Mineral Salt), Prunus amygdalus dulcis (Sweet Almond) Nut, Lavandula x intermedia (Lavender) Flower Powder, Bambusa Vulgaris (Banslochan) Powder, Citrus sinensis (Orange) Peel Powder, Glycyrrhiza glabra (Licorice) Root Powder, Rosa centifolia (Rose) Powder Pink, White Sand, Zingiber officinale (Ginger) Root Powder, Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender) Oil*

Next up in the vegan box, is the Little Moon Essentials mineral bath packet.  Honestly, I'm more of a shower gal; I cleanse my face & wash my hair so a shower is more convenient for me.  I will end up giving this to my mother who enjoys bath balms, bubbles, and all the extras that you can add to a bath.

Ingredients:  Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate), american mineral salt, japanese sea salt, and alaea salt (sodium chloride), tangerine oil (citrus tangerina), organic cane alcohol and natural flavors (organic coconut flavor), and cedarwood oil (cedrus deodara).

I love essential oils! This is the Earthly Body Miracle Oil.  I'm going to try this in a face steamer as I cleanse my face.  This oil blend contains hemp seed oil, tea tree oil, and vitamin e! The use is limitless when it comes to essential oils.  Even though the sample is small, it will last you a while, because you don't need a lot of it.

INGREDIENTS: GLYCINE SOYA (soybean) OIL, PERSEA GRATISSIMA (Avocado) OIL, CANNABIS SATIVA (Hemp) SEED OIL, PRUNUS ARMENIACA (Apricot) KERNEL OIL, SIMMONDSIA CHINENSIS (Jojoba) SEED OIL, MELALEUCA ALTERNIFOLIA (Tea Tree) LEAF OIL, TOCOPHEROL, EUCALYPTUS GLOBUS OIL, ROSMARINUS OFFICINALIS (Rosemary) LEAF OIL, LIMONENE, LINALOOL

The last product we have, is the Jing Ai Vegan Lip & Cheek Glo! Cute, right?  And it's pretty pigmented on my skin tone.  BUT it is a little drying on my lips.  This is a good on-the-go product to keep close if you're out and about.  You get a regular size sample, as it is meant to be like a chapstick/cheek color in one.

INGREDIENTS *Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Wax, *Mangifera Indica (Mango Butter) Seed Oil, *Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), *Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose Oil), *Citrus Tangerina (Tangerine) Oil, *Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Oil, *Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Oil, Mixed Tocopherols, *Rosemary Extract, *Calendula Extract, *Passiflora incarnate (Passionflower), Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxide
